The Holy Docheiariou Monastery lies in the Holly Mountain (Agion Oros) in the third leg of the Halkidiki peninsula in Northern Greece.
This site does not have as objective to preach. Archangel Michael is venerated in multiple religions and is the protector against evil.
The Holy Docheiariou Monastery is the oldest surviving monastery in the world that venerates Archangel Michael and the Archangels overal as its patrons and has been operational continuously since its creation in 980 AD.
